Beginnings

We started our careers in huge multi billion-dollar CPG and software enterprises. Since then, we’ve worked in companies of all sizes, founded three startups (successfully growing, funding and exiting them) and had an additional four exits through companies within media, ad tech, and data, where we held leadership positions.

Meet the Leadership Team

Through this journey, we’ve been lucky enough to meet incredible professionals, some of whom even became close friends. Professionals who come from all walks of life—those with names you’ll know well (let’s have coffee; we’ll do the name-dropping then) to incredibly talented people just starting on a career path, destined to shape the future.

Today, we work with companies of all sizes and stages, from enterprise to pre-launch startups. We help them with their most strategic, company-defining needs as well as hands-on execution to the smallest detail. And we love every moment.

As the co-founder of Kontrol Media, I have a deep passion for helping clients of all sizes to reach their business goals. My own background as a business leader and CMO helps me to understand client needs, and to develop strategies to be successful. I bring experience from having worked directly for global companies including Microsoft, Experian, and Envestnet. I have even built my own VC-backed software companies prior to starting Kontrol Media. I've spent 15 years working in the Fintech/Financial Services industry including Envestnet|Yodlee supporting many different consumer fintech offerings. I was also the former CMO of Gooten, a smart supply chain solution, as well as the former CMO of Wrench, the market leader for on-demand car care. Currently, I am the Executive Director of the UCLA Venture Capital Fund, supporting innovation by young entrepreneurs. Overall, I love building businesses with my clients. I was also the former CEO of TeenSafe, where we developed a distracted driving prevention app in partnership with insurance/telecom, which has eventually been sold to SiriusXM. I have also aided in the founding of SkuRun, a retail compliance app for lottery systems, sold to Scientific Games. My career began as a fund advisor to Europlay Capital, which supported companies like Skype and Atomico, and later Morpheus Ventures.

Beginnings

We started our careers in huge multi billion-dollar CPG and software enterprises. Since then, we’ve worked in companies of all sizes, founded three startups (successfully growing, funding and exiting them) and had an additional four exits through companies within media, ad tech, and data, where we held leadership positions.

As the co-founder of Kontrol Media, I have a deep passion for helping clients of all sizes to reach their business goals. My own background as a business leader and CMO helps me to understand client needs, and to develop strategies to be successful. I bring experience from having worked directly for global companies including Microsoft, Experian, and Envestnet. I have even built my own VC-backed software companies prior to starting Kontrol Media. I've spent 15 years working in the Fintech/Financial Services industry including Envestnet|Yodlee supporting many different consumer fintech offerings. I was also the former CMO of Gooten, a smart supply chain solution, as well as the former CMO of Wrench, the market leader for on-demand car care. Currently, I am the Executive Director of the UCLA Venture Capital Fund, supporting innovation by young entrepreneurs. Overall, I love building businesses with my clients.
